Reimagining creativity: Redefining boundaries with a distinct love & pasion.
In the summer of 2018, a vibrant and groundbreaking art festival named "The Mixxer" emerged. This wasn't merely another event but a thoughtfully curated platform designed to spotlight young, talented creatives. By offering them an avenue to present their artworks, The Mixxer connected these emerging artists with a wider audience, enabling them to freely express their creativity without constraints.
Our organization co-funded and co-organized The Mixxer with a clear vision: to elevate and celebrate the wealth of talent from young Georgian creatives. Recognizing the potential in their diverse skills and expressions, we were compelled to provide a space where artists, musicians, and other creatives could thrive.
The festival commenced on July 21st at "Fabrika," a bustling social hub in Tbilisi, Georgia. The event showcased various art forms, with a standout installation series by Mikheil Tbileli, which captured the essence of a soul's journey. This narrative was further accentuated by the dominant "soul tree" sculpture, which stood prominently at the stage's center.
The artistic flair of Nikita Antelava was evident in his sculptures that adorned the venue, while various DJs set a pulsating ambiance. The highlight, however, was the collaboration with acclaimed Georgian Fashion designer, Aka Nanita. She not only supported The Mixxer but also designed an exclusive capsule collection. This collection was the centerpiece of a fashion show that concluded the first day of the festival.
